VERNET BEHRINGER will be introducing in EMO Hannover 2017 HD-SEVO, a major evolution of HD-S, 2 years only after its first presentation at EMO Milano.

Alongside the ultra-productive HD-XEVO with its additional 500 mm stroke on all 3 spindles, the HD-SEVO drilling – milling machine is particularly dedicated to small / medium-sized steel fabricators looking for a versatile machine with compact footprint or bigger companies requiring an additional line for lighter profiles.

The HD-SEVO comes with a brand new design, guaranteeing both an optimal protection to the operator and easy access to the tool changers and other parts of the unit thanks to the wide transparent doors. It integrates light indicators on both sides of the machine, providing immediate information about the machine’s status.

With its 3 spindles, the HD-SEVO can simultaneously drill the web and both flanges of H-beams, but also process channels, angles and flats.
Innovative technologies make also possible the machining of right hollow sections on all 4 faces.
Jansen steel profiles for windows and doors can also be machined thanks to an optional adaptation kit.

The machine offers a unique clamping system with CNC controlled x-axis with 150 mm stroke which ensures:

  • High productivity when carbide drilling, as there is no time lost for clamping/unclamping operation between holes (within 150 mm window), in combination with high-end energy efficient Siemens spindle motors.
  • Industrial milling of long holes, openings.
  • Fast and precise part identification and layout marking with Vernet Behringer’s exclusive V-scoring system
  • Low running costs thanks to extended tool life and easy maintenance



HD-SEVO can be customized with new options, such as extended tool changers for 8 diameters instead of 4, automatic short parts sorting systems, full-automatic configurations…

The range comprises the HD-SEVO 412, 612, 912 and 1012 with respectively 400, 600, 900 and 1000 x 300 mm capacity.
