New HD-S

HD-S, Vernet Behringer new compact drilling machine for profiles, will make its world premiere at EMO fair. This model has been inspired by the HD-XEVO drilling-milling machine presented last year at Euroblech and that became immediately THE reference in this category and will be positioned as an entry range, particularly dedicated to locksmith and small medium-sized steel fabricators looking for a versatile machine with compact footprint.

The basic version includes 3 spindles to drill simultaneously the web and both flanges of Hbeams, but also machine channels, angles, flat as well as right hollow sections, and a powerful operating system enabling part programing on 4 faces. Additional modules have been designed to increase the versatility of the machine:

• Powerful spindle motors enabling fast carbide drilling
• Unique clamping system with CNC controlled x-axis with 150 mm stroke, enabling vibration-free milling operations on profiles: long holes, openings etc.
• Fast and precise scribing with V-scoring system

1st OPEN HOUSE EDITION: GREAT SUCCESS FOR VERNET BEHRINGER

The first edition of the “TOWER-Days” (4 – 5 March 2015) organized by Vernet Behringer for the lattice tower fabricators attracted around a hundred decision makers of this sector. Technical solutions tailored to their specific requirements such as increased productivity and competitiveness, were placed at the core of these days. The agenda was very challenging with demonstrations of fast and innovative machines along with technical presentations given by our experts that were willing to answer any question, also conferences targeted on key issues such as software and after sales service and a guided tour of the factory.

It was the perfect opportunity for the attendees to discover and re-discover Vernet Behringer. Some customers took advantage of this Open House to renew their trust. Two companies signed a contract with Vernet Behringer for VP-2X high speed drilling, scribing and heel milling angle machine and the lightning-fast VP-X 94 punching and shearing angle line. Others have already a large number of projects for the upcoming months.

Our guests could not only get familiar with our latest innovations but also enjoy the Burgundy’s jewels. They visited the emblematic “Château de Clos du Vougeot”, located right at the heart of the road of the “Grands Crus” as well as “Les Hospices de Beaune” famous for their beautiful and multicolored tiled roofs, or they took a guided tour through the historical center of Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. To conclude on a perfect note, they could enjoy our finest local wines and gastronomy.

The success of the T-Days and the positive feedback of our customers (see below some of them) have encouraged us to continue with this type of events. We are already looking forward to renewing this experience and we hope all our guests will be among us once again.

HD-Xevo: Vernet Behringer new multispindle drilling milling machine

HD-XEVO, Vernet Behringer new drilling milling machine for profiles will make its world premiere at Euroblech fair. It will replace the HD-X machine presented for the first time at EMO Hannover in 2011 and keep its key feature – additional axes with 500 mm stroke, improving working speed and machining possibilities:

• Rotation speed increased up to 4000rpm for faster carbide drilling
• Even more rigid frame equipped with reinforced spindles, use of prestressed linear guides and ball screw
• Use of new exclusive milling tools allowing the fast processing never ever seen before in this field
• Development of software solution allowing new notching cycles by milling, simultaneous drilling/milling and sawing (if permitted by part drawing) and 3D view of parts to be produced.

And of course:

• Matchless productivity with the possibility to drill non-coaxial holes in flanges and web in hidden time.
• Cycle time reduction with no clamping/unclamping operations between the holes within 500 mm window.
• Highest accuracy between holes: +/-0.1 mm in drilling units positioning.
